And Here We Go Again...

Well, I'm back to blogging! First post for AT and I think it's pretty good. I'll actually find an issue for next time to talk about. Promise. Just had to say hi first. Check out everything here. I have astronomy up and running.

Looking Up For Those Who Don't

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back in time? Well, obviously, you haven't looked up lately. Some stars up there are billions of light years away. Which means that the light we see was the light those stars gave off billions of years ago. It takes that long for the light to reach us. Even looking at the sun takes us eight minutes back. Gives you some perspective there. And, since the universe is expanding, the timne it akes for that light to get here is only increasing, so look now while you can. We won't be here to see it start condensing again, but then everything will be closer together and light will get here sooner. Don't you hate how confusing the universe is?
